Prior to law school, Amy spent four years as a consultant to the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS), with a particular emphasis on improving communications to Medicare beneficiaries and strengthening CMS' local partnerships. She also spent two years tracking state reforms in public and private health insurance programs and in provider licensure in all 50 states.
