Wisconsin Governor Appoints Quarles & Brady Attorney to Council
MILWAUKEE, WI ─ The national law firm of Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that attorney Katherine Maloney Perhach, a partner with the firm's Commercial Litigation practice, has been appointed by Governor Jim Doyle to the Wisconsin Council on Developmental Disabilities for a term to expire July 1, 2012.
Perhach focuses her practice on litigation disputes involving lender liability, Truth in Lending, bankruptcy, eminent domain, land use, and property rights and easements. She earned her law degree,
cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her bachelor's degree,
summa cum laude, from Marquette University.
The Council's role is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities and their families have the same opportunities as other citizens. The Council is empowered by Congress to advocate, develop new models of service, and help communities to be more inclusive.
