Quarles & Brady Welcomes Four New Partners to Growing Chicago Office

CHICAGO, IL ─ The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that four new partners have joined its Chicago office.

Kevin Slaughter joins as a partner in the Corporate Services practice, Thomas Stiebel joins as a partner in the Intellectual Property practice, Everett Ward joins as a partner in the Real Estate practice and Cynthia Faur joins as a partner in the Environmental practice.

“Kevin, Thomas, Everett and Cynthia bring significant experience in their respective practice areas and we are delighted to welcome them to Quarles & Brady," said John W. Daniels, Chairman of Quarles & Brady. “Our Chicago office has grown considerably since its founding and these additions will significantly strengthen our experience and capabilities in these strategic areas as we continue to expand in this market.”

“We are excited to add this group of respected lawyers to our growing Chicago office,” added D. Scott Watson, Chicago Office Managing Partner for Quarles & Brady. “We look forward to the contributions that each of these attorneys will make at Quarles & Brady in Chicago as we strengthen our existing capabilities and identify new opportunities that are increasingly important to our client base in this region.”

Expanding Quarles & Brady’s Chicago Platform

The group’s arrival represents the latest significant addition to the Chicago office in recent months as the firm’s platform continues to attract a variety of distinguished attorneys from across the country.

In September, noted corporate healthcare attorney Rahsaan W. Thompson joined Quarles & Brady’s Chicago office from Abraxis BioScience, Inc. in Los Angeles, where he served as Associate General Counsel.

Quarles & Brady first opened its Chicago office in 1999 with the acquisition of Wilson & McIlvaine, a 28-lawyer Chicago firm, and has since grown to more than 60 lawyers. To accommodate this growth, in late March, the firm will move into 75,000 square feet of office space in the new skyscraper located at 300 N. LaSalle. This new space will allow the firm to expand to as many as 150 attorneys in Chicago.
