Professional Experience
Adam Kiracofe focuses his practice on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for affluent individuals, corporate executives, small business owners and other professionals. His recent work experience includes:
- Counseling individuals regarding estate planning matters, including marital property considerations.
- Drafting estate plans, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney for health care and durable financial powers of attorney.
- Implementing techniques to protect generational wealth from the claims of creditors and from division of assets in the event of divorce.
- Designing sophisticated gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies to minimize the tax burden of intergenerational wealth shifts, including installment sales to grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs) and qualified personal residence trusts.
- Employing tax efficient planning strategies for retirement benefits and life insurance.
- Representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the settlement of estates and administration of trusts.
