Professional Experience
Anthony Steinike practices in the areas of product liability defense and commercial litigation. His practice involves the defense of product manufacturers, retailers, and distributors, as well as the defense and prosecution of fraud actions, complex breach of contract cases, and foreclosure actions. Mr. Steinike’s experience includes:
- Representation of manufacturers, retailers, and distributors of various products and equipment including power tools, fork lifts, skid steer loaders, and motorcycles against catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims.
- Representation of major national banks in litigation involving a variety of financial transactions.
- Representation of major national banks in the prosecution of commercial foreclosure actions.
- Representation of landlords in breach of lease and commercial evictions under the Illinois Forcible Entry and Detainer Act.
- Representation of a large and prestigious common package carrier in a variety of matters, including personal injury and breach of contract.
- Representation of sub and general contractors with regard to mechanic’s lien and other construction issues.
- Representation of major national bank in loan enforcement actions, including breach of contract and replevin cases seeking injunctive relief.
- Representation of employers in actions to enforce non-solicitation covenants and covenants not to compete.
