Quarles & Brady Attorney Appointed to a Pair of Wisconsin State Bar Committees
MILWAUKEE, WIS. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that
Jane E. Appleby, an attorney in the Firm’s Milwaukee office, has been appointed to two Wisconsin State Bar committees, the State Bar’s Diversity Outreach Committee and reinstalled to the State Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee.
Ms. Appleby is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. She concentrates her practice on general civil and commercial litigation, including health care litigation, trusts and estates litigation, securities arbitration, antitrust and responding to HSR requests. She is also a member of Marquette University’s Law School Alumni Board and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Ms. Appleby serves as an elected member on the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Judicial Selection Committee and as an Advisory Panel Member of the Milwaukee Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service. She earned her law degree,
cum laude, from Marquette University and her B.S. degree from the University of Utah.
The Wisconsin State Bar Diversity Outreach Committee is dedicated to fostering a racially and ethnically diverse State Bar and legal profession that is conscious of racial and ethnic differences.
The Wisconsin State Bar Professional Ethics Committee is devoted to formulating and recommending standards and methods to assist in the effective enforcement of high standards of ethics and conduct in the practice of law for Wisconsin lawyers.
