Professional Experience
Bridgette DeToro practices in the area of Public Finance. Her practice involves:
- Serving as bond counsel and advising Wisconsin municipalities with respect to structuring of tax-exempt and taxable debt and revenue financings, including various bond programs under the Stimulus Act, such as Build America Bonds and other tax-advantaged programs.
- Serving as bond counsel to Wisconsin municipalities utilizing USDA-Rural Development and Wisconsin Rural Water Construction Loan Program financing.
- Advising Wisconsin municipalities regarding tax incremental financing districts and other economic development matters, including development agreements.
- Providing assistance related to public records and open meeting laws.
- Assisting and advising underwriters in complying with the regulatory requirements of offering municipal securities.
