Hiring considerations include superior intellectual ability, character, problem-solving abilities, motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain and attract clients. These qualities, along with demonstrated performance, form the basis for advancement and partnership consideration.

The men and women in our 2011 summer program came from 8 law schools; they attended 11 colleges and had 11 different majors; 36 % are from racial/ethnic minority groups; 46% are women; and more than half worked between college and law school.
