Professional Experience
Cheri McCourt practices litigation in the areas of product liability, toxic tort and personal injury defense and is also a member of the IP litigation team. Her recent experience includes:
  • Representing various automobile manufacturers against product warranty and defect claims.

  • Defending manufacturers, retailers and distributors of various products and equipment against serious and catastrophic personal injury claims in courts across the country.

  • Representing large manufacturers in patent and trade secret litigation.

  • Successful representation of a party in a proceeding under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction through appeal to the Seventh Circuit.
Cheri devotes extensive time to providing pro bono representation to those in need. She also assists in the coordination of the Guardianship Assistance Programs at both Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and in Milwaukee County.
