Professional Experience
Christine Burns’ practice includes a broad spectrum of litigation, specifically focusing on labor and employment. She has experience with a wide variety of employment and tort litigation matters before state and federal courts and juries. Christine also has significant state and appellate court experience. Her recent experience includes:
  • Representation of employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies regarding a wide range of employment matters including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes.

  • Preparation of various employment documents, including employment agreements and employment handbooks.

  • Defense of employers in tort litigation.

  • Defense of product manufacturers in federal and state court.

  • Defense of automobile manufacturers in federal court.

  • Drafting federal and state appellate court briefs.
