MILWAUKEE, WIS. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Ann K. Comer, a partner in the Firm’s Milwaukee office, received a 2011 WCREW Leadership Award from the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women (“WCREW”).

The WCREW Leadership Award recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to the real estate industry in Wisconsin and who are significant role models and mentors for other women in the industry. Ms. Comer was one of two recipients this year and was nominated by fellow partner, Karen DaCosta Perzan. She was honored at a the Leadership Luncheon on June 2 in Milwaukee.

Ms. Comer practices in the area of commercial real estate and finance. She is experienced in a wide range of real estate law matters including advising clients on real estate development and finance matters, advising clients on matters involving affordable housing and new markets tax credits, and negotiating and closing conventional and governmental loan transactions. Ms. Comer received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her undergraduate degree from Marquette University.
