Darlene Austin, PHR is the Director of Diversity & Employee Relations at Quarles & Brady. In this role, she is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the Firm's diversity continuum and employee relations. This position is responsible for assessing the organizational needs, identifying and recommending ideas and programs that contribute to a diverse organization in which we address our three main diversity components: 1) recruitment, management and retention of a diverse workforce for both attorneys and staff, 2) supplier and subcontractor relationships, and 3) community programs. In addition, this individual will develop and implement training programs for attorneys and staff on the importance of diversity and inclusion.
Darlene has been with Quarles & Brady her entire professional career and has provided leadership in Human Resources for more than 15 years at the Firm.
Darlene received her Bachelors with emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She became certified from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 2001, receiving the status of Professional in Human Resources.
