The New ACA Reporting Rules: And You Thought W-2s Were Bad
Program Overview: The IRS has released drafts of the forms and instructions that employers will use to satisfy new reporting requirements under Code Sections 6055 and 6056. While the first reports are not due until 2016, they will include information for each month of 2015, and now is the time to make sure that you have the proper systems in place to capture the needed information. During this webinar, our presenters, John Barlament and Amy Ciepluch, will discuss:
- how the U.S. Supreme Court's review of the availability of federally run exchange subsidies could impact the Pay or Play requirements;
- the information that you will need to collect to complete the reports;
- how to report if you have a multi-entity company;
- deadlines for reporting; and
- pitfalls that we see ahead.
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CT
Who Should Attend: This seminar is designed for in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and other interested corporate executives.
We will apply for one hour of continuing legal education credit in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We will issue a Certificate of Attendance to Arizona attendees as the State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement.
If you are member of another jurisdiction that does not honor CLE credit from AZ, FL, IL, IN, VA, or WI, we will be happy to provide the materials needed in order for you to apply for CLE credit. Please contact Donna Key, our CLE coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
