Quarles & Brady's Ferland Named a Green Pioneer by the Phoenix Business Journal
PHOENIX, ARIZ. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Roger K. Ferland, a partner in the Firm’s Phoenix office, has been named one of Arizona’s Green Pioneers by the
Phoenix Business Journal.
Mr. Ferland is a member of the Firm’s Environmental Practice Group. He is also Chair of Quarles & Brady’s Clean Energy, Climate Change & Sustainability practice, and has practiced in the areas of environmental and natural resources law in both the public and private sector since 1975. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Audubon Arizona and is Co-chair of the Audubon Science and Policy Committee. He has been an adjunct professor of environmental law at Arizona State University College of Law, and is listed in
Chambers USA (the only Arizona Environmental attorney with Chambers’ highest “Star” ranking). Mr. Ferland was the first recipient of the Michael J. Brophy Distinguished Service Award presented by the State Bar of Arizona’s Environment and Natural Resources Section. He received his law degree,
with distinction, from Duke University School of Law
and his bachelor’s degree,
magna cum laude, from Lewis & Clark College.
The Green Pioneer honor recognizes individuals who are helping to lead the charge of business sustainability. To recognize the progress being made in Arizona and some of those behind the success, the
