Financial Regulatory Reform Task Force
Our Financial Regulatory Reform Task Force is a collaborative effort among a number of the Firm’s practice groups that are dedicating their attention to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. This sweeping legislation has significant implications for many of our clients and the manner in which they will conduct their businesses in the future. The Task Force will provide timely and practical advice to Firm clients on the Act, and on the many administrative rules and regulations that are expected to be forthcoming in order to implement the Act’s requirements.
The Task Force will focus its work on the following:
- Attention to the Dodd-Frank Act provisions that will impose new obligations on our clients immediately or in the months and years ahead.
- Publishing written client alerts on the Act, the regulations and their specific requirements.
- Monitoring the numerous new rules and regulations that are certain to be issued under the Act.
- Provision of practical advice to our Firm clients as to the steps that they need to take to comply with the Act’s requirements.
