Eric D. Ledbetter has been named to the list of 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch

Mr. Ledbetter is an attorney in the Firm’s Immigration Group. He specializes in complex immigration matters with an emphasis on business visas for prominent individuals and the employees of corporate clients. He regularly represents scientists, researchers, engineers, business executives, entertainers, doctors and high-tech workers. He has broad experience with all types of nonimmigrant visas as well as permanent residency statuses based on PERM labor certification, multinational management, outstanding research and extraordinary ability. Mr. Ledbetter advises companies on a range of workplace compliance issues, including I-9 audits and best practices, E-Verify, and avoidance of discrimination claims based on alienage and citizenship status. He earned his law degree from UCLA and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.
