Presentation Overview

On May 16, 2012, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services published reforms to the hospital and critical access hospital Conditions of Participation that CMS claims will save almost $5 billion over the next five years. During this webinar, we will walk through the various changes to the CoPs (e.g., governing body, medical staff, and verbal order regulations) and discuss open questions that remain following CMS’s rulemaking.
