CHICAGO, ILL. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Steven V. Hunter, a partner in the Firm’s Chicago office, was selected as one of the 2012 Honorees of ‘the Conversation’ Awards. Honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on August 31.

Hunter is an attorney in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. He represents companies in all phases of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including discovery, “e-discovery,” motions practice, arbitration, mediation, jury trials, bench trials and appeals. He is a fellow in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and has received numerous accolades, including being named ‘2012 Young Lawyer of the Year’ by the Illinois State Bar Association. Hunter was included in Illinois Super Lawyers^®–Rising Stars and was named one of “40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 To Watch” by Chicago Lawyer magazine and The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from Brown University.
