Professional Experience
Jon Hackbarth practices in the areas of general civil and commercial litigation. His recent experience includes:
- Successfully dismissing a corporate credit union’s $6 million lawsuit alleging common law and constitutional violations against the nation’s largest credit union.
- Successfully transferring, then dismissing a multimillion dollar lawsuit pending against a hedge fund in federal court.
- Successfully removing a lawsuit brought against a national soft drink company from state to federal court, then obtaining a complete dismissal of the lawsuit in federal court with prejudice.
- Obtaining a favorable result for the co-owner of a technology company in litigation over the company’s dissolution.
- Serving as National Beverage Counsel to the second largest brewer in the United States.
- Representing a leading insurance broker in a professional liability lawsuit arising from damages sustained during Hurricane Katrina.
