Practice Group Administrator, Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, Product Liability Practice Groups
Karen Mazin brings a strong financial and analytical background to her role as the Administrator of the Firm’s budgeting process. In this capacity, she works closely with The Firm’s Executive Committee and Finance Committee to ensure that the Firm’s practice groups and offices are aligned with the Firm’s strategic goals. In addition to budget creation, she closely monitors and analyzes Firm expenditures for ROI.
She also serves in a dual capacity as the Administrator of several practice and industry groups—Intellectual Property, Intellectual Property Litigation, Products Liability and China Law. In her role as Practice Group Administrator, Karen is responsible for managing all business aspects of the groups. This includes financial management, strategic planning, staffing administration and technology solutions, as well as management of other human resource matters.
Before joining Quarles & Brady, Karen spent eight years at a nationally recognized architecture firm where she provided services in all aspects of their accounting department.
Karen received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA and the WICPA.
