Professional Experience
Katea Ravega is a member of the Firm’s Health Law Group. She is a regulatory compliance attorney focused on the health care industry whose practice includes handling a wide range of federal and state regulatory matters. Katea has experience in the following areas:
- Pharmacy, wholesaler, and manufacturer licensing and regulatory compliance, including representation before administrative agency boards.
- Representation involving federal and state pharmaceutical law and regulations.
- Advising pharmacies, prescription drug wholesalers, and pharmacy benefit managers on FDA, DEA, and state regulatory issues.
- Representation involving medical and prescription discount cards, including licensing and contracting.
- Policy development, including HIPAA privacy and security policies.
- Healthcare industry contracting, including pharmacy provider agreements, business associate agreements, and network agreements.
