What inspires you?
Competition and the fear of failure.

If you chose a quote to live by, what would it be?
"Keep on, keepin' on." Unknown author. It's pretty simple, but, to me, it signifies that hard work and dedication will get you to where you want to be.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
I can't think of one in particular. I try to focus on the next task and not bask too much in what I have already done.

What has been your most embarrassing experience at Q&B?

What experience at Q&B has been the most fun?
Getting to know all of the people in the Madison office and the Labor & Employment practice group.

What advice would you give to a law student?
Treat it like a job and how you want to practice in real life. If you want to treat it like a "9 to 5" job, be prepared for to set your sights low.

What is your greatest professional success?
Anytime I beat government attorneys. Victory always tastes sweeter when it comes against them.

What class should you have taken in law school?
More Trial Ad courses.

Who has given you the best advice about practicing law and what was that advice?
Trust your instinct and be willing to make the tough decisions.

What makes you laugh?
People who do not take themselves too seriously.

What is the best thing about Q&B?
The people are top notch.

What do you do for fun?
I'm a huge U.S. National Team soccer fan. I travel across the country to see them play.

What is great about working in Madison?
It's the perfect size. There are great restaurants, culture, and shopping, but you can be in green space with a five minute drive. It's the best of both worlds.
