Professional Experience
Marian Zapata-Rossa practices in the area of labor and employment law. Her recent experience includes:
- Representing employers before various government agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Arizona Civil Rights Division and the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
- Defending employers in settlement, arbitration, mediation and litigation, including breach of contract, discrimination and retaliation claims and enforcement of covenants not to compete.
- Advising employers on current trends and compliance with state and federal employment laws including the FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Title VII, and Arizona’s Employment Security law.
- Providing employment advice and counseling to employers with operations in the U.S. and Canada.
