Professional Experience
Michael Grebe focuses his practice in the areas of general corporate law, corporate finance and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters and has significant experience with a wide variety of complex and straightforward forms of transactions, including handling matters for both private and public clients. In addition, he has experience advising clients in connection with matters related to government relations, including lobbying and campaign finance compliance and is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Grebe's recent experience includes the following:
- Regularly providing legal and strategic advice to and otherwise representing a major consumer goods manufacturer, and most recently assisting that company in connection with various matters pertaining to the sale of the company from its former parent, a public company traded on the NYSE, to its current parent, a public company traded on a foreign exchange.
- Regularly representing a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in connection with a series of acquisitions and dispositions, including both stock and asset acquisitions, as well as various securities matters.
- Representing a number of privately held businesses in various matters ranging from acquisitions of new businesses to general contracting matters to other business issues.
