Professional Experience
Michael Levey’s practice focuses on health care professionals, including physicians and dentists, medical and dental groups, tax-exempt organizations, and privately held businesses. His experience includes:
- Handling life cycle events of professional practices, including formation and maintenance of Wisconsin service corporations; drafting, reviewing and negotiating of employment agreements; sales and purchases of practice assets, practice buy-ins and mergers, practice separations and dissolutions. He is a frequent speaker to physicians on business matters relating to professional practices.
- Serving as outside legal counsel to a variety of nonstock, nonprofit corporations exempt from federal income tax under various provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Representing privately held businesses in connection with general business matters.
