Quarles & Brady Announces New Partners
MILWAUKEE, WIS. – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that the following attorneys have been elected to partnership by the Firm’s executive committee:
Chicago:
Jennifer Dorn is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group. Ms. Dorn has gained extensive experience representing publicly-traded companies, real estate investment funds, institutional landlords, corporate tenants, asset managers, lending institutions and borrowers in all facets of real estate transactions across the county. She specializes in sales and acquisitions of multi-family projects and other commercial properties and office and retail leasing transactions. Ms. Dorn is also a current member of the Firm’s Chicago Recruiting Committee. She received both her law degree,
magna cum laude, and undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
Nicole M. Murray is a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Group and focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. She counsels clients on intellectual property issues, including infringement, licensing, and branding. She also counsels clients on marketing and advertising issues arising both in traditional media and on social media platforms. Ms. Murray represents companies in a broad range of industries, including consumer products, advertising, and manufacturing. She assists clients in the acquisition, protection and exploitation of their intellectual property around the world. She was selected for inclusion in the
Illinois Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of intellectual property. Ms. Murray received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2002 and her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1998.
Jodi Patt Pellettiere is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Services Group. She focuses her practice on representing and advising not-for-profit organizations with respect to corporate and tax issues. She represents a variety of tax-exempt entities (including public charities, private and public foundations, and charitable and educational institutions) in matters such as securing rulings from the IRS and advising organizations regarding compliance with tax laws and best practices for not-for-profit organizations. She has been selected for inclusion in the
Illinois Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of non-profit law annually since 2008. Ms. Pellettiere received her law degree,
cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 2002 and her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1999.
Anthony P. Steinike is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. He focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation and products liability defense, including fraud actions, complex breach of contract cases, foreclosure actions, and the defense of product manufacturers, retailers, and distributors. Mr. Steinike was selected for inclusion in the
Illinois Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of business litigation and is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network. He received both his law degree and undergraduate degree,
with honors, from DePaul University.
Milwaukee:
Nicole J. Druckrey is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. She assists clients with a variety of litigation matters, including disputes involving allegations of unfair competition, noncompete agreements, trade secrets, allegations of fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, and contract breaches. She has successfully pursued and defended against a number of injunction requests. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including the health care, manufacturing, technology, retail and construction industries. Ms. Druckrey was selected for inclusion in the
Minnesota Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of litigation and serves in many capacities at the Defense Research Institute (“DRI”). She received both her law degree,
cum laude, and undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota.
Jeffrey J. LaValle is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Services Group. He practices in the areas of securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. Mr. LaValle’s experience includes representing public companies in connection with securities and corporate governance matters and periodic reporting compliance, representing clients in merger and acquisition transactions, and advising clients with respect to contract and other business matters. Natalie G. Maciolek is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. She practices in the areas of general civil and commercial litigation, focusing on insurance recovery, professional liability, healthcare and securities matters. Her recent experience includes representing policyholders in litigation involving insurance coverage claims at both the trial and appellate levels, defending a leading insurance broker in professional liability lawsuits, and representing multinational companies in litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, and negligence claims, in both state and federal courts. She received her law degree,
magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2004 and her undergraduate degree,
cum laude, from Georgetown University in 2001.
Nathan R. Mathews is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Services Group. He focuses his practice on representation of private equity, publicly-held and middle market companies and their owners and investors in acquisitions and divestitures, and in leveraged buyout transactions. Mr. Mathews also regularly advises clients regarding the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements. He received his law degree,
cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 1997.
Cheri L. McCourt is a member of the Firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. She practices litigation in the areas of product liability, toxic tort and personal injury defense. Her experience includes representing various automobile manufacturers against product warranty and defect claims, and defending manufacturers, retailers and distributors of various products and equipment against serious and catastrophic personal injury claims. She received her law degree,
magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2003 and her undergraduate degree,
magna cum laude, from Carroll University in 1999.
Amalia L. Todryk is a member of the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Group. Her practice focuses on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for individuals, small business owners and professionals. Ms. Todryk’s experience includes: preparing wills, trusts, marital property agreements, financial powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney, traditional bypass trust and marital deduction planning, charitable estate planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, asset protection planning, and estate and trust administration. She was selected for inclusion in the
Wisconsin Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of estate planning & probate and was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” in Wisconsin in 2010 by the
Wisconsin Law Journal. She received her law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2003 and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2000.
Chad J. Wiener is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Services Group. His experience includes the representation of corporate clients with respect to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and other related corporate governance requirements, the representation of public companies in connection with periodic reporting requirements, and advising clients with respect to contract and other business matters. cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in 2001, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1997.
Joe Wilson is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. He practices in the area of energy and utility law and also advises clients with respect to complex commercial litigation. Mr. Wilson was selected for inclusion in the
Wisconsin Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of utility law. He received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2004 and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 2000.
Phoenix:
John Spencer Craiger is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights Group. His practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and creditors’ rights. Using pre-judgment and post-judgment creditors’ remedies, including replevins, attachments, garnishments and receiverships, he has enabled creditors to move quickly to protect and recover their collateral and to collect indebtednesses owed to them. His practice also focuses on litigation disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, defamation and other business related torts. He received both his law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.
Craig J. O’Loughlin is a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment Group. His practice focuses in the areas of employment law advisement and litigation, OSHA compliance and defense, and public contract award protests. His experience includes defending employers in federal and state (California and Arizona) employee discrimination and retaliation litigation, and drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants, including non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements in the employment setting. He received both his law degree and undergraduate degree,
summa cum laude, from Arizona State University.
