Larry Cote Joins Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America’s Board of Directors01/21/16
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Washington, D.C. office managing partner, Larry Cote, has joined the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America's (CADCA) board of directors.
CADCA offers youth and adult training opportunities, hosts international programs, and partners with organizations to create strategies that better the community. Cote joins the board of 20 people. In the past, he has co-chaired events such as the CADCA Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards dinner.
"I'm extremely humbled to be a board member of CADCA," said Cote. "I look forward to working with General Dean, my fellow board members, and the entire CADCA staff to help make our communities safe, healthy, and drug-free."
Cote co-leads the firm's DEA Compliance & Litigation Practice Group. He represents and advises manufacturers, wholesale distributors, pharmacies, hospitals, and individual practitioners on the full array of compliance matters relating to their obligations under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations. He also represents registrants in administrative and civil litigation matters in actions brought under the CSA and has extensive experience trying cases before DEA's administrative law judges.
He received his law degree from Albany Law School and his bachelor's degree from Union College.
CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America), is the national membership organization representing over 5,000 coalitions and affiliates working to make America’s communities safe, healthy and drug-free.
