Christine Menendez Joins Quarles & Brady’s Washington, D.C. Office06/02/13
WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 2, 2013) - The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Christine M. Menendez has joined the firm's Washington, D.C. office as an associate in the Health Law Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Menendez served as a senior attorney advisor at the Drug Enforcement Administration's Office of Chief Counsel. In this position she advised DEA on issues related to the diversion of legally produced controlled substances and listed chemicals into illegitimate channels, represented the DEA in administrative hearings regarding the revocation or denial of DEA registrations, and advised federal and state law enforcement and regulatory personnel on a wide range of investigative and prosecutorial topics arising under the Controlled Substances Act. She received both her law degree, with honors, and undergraduate degree, from the University of Florida.
