Dale Regelman Elected Vice Chair of Arizona State Bar’s Executive Council of the IP Section

TUCSON, ARIZ. - The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Dale F. Regelman, a partner in the Firm's Tucson office, was elected vice chair of the Arizona State Bar's Executive Council for the Intellectual Property Section. He previously served as a member-at-large and secretary of the section for several years.

The Executive Council coordinates all activities for the Intellectual Property section, including monthly meetings, CLE presentations, and the annual meeting and presentation at the State Bar Convention.

Regelman is a member of the Intellectual Property Group. His experience includes, representing clients in the computer, chemical, pharmaceutical and optical arts in patent protection, licensing, negotiation and related intellectual property counseling, previously serving as assistant director of a Tucson technical center, and designed and fabricated microelectronic components using novel polymeric, dielectric and magnetic materials at an international telephone and telegraph corporation. Regelman also serves as president of the University of Arizona's James E. Rodgers College of Law Alumni Association and the Arizona Law Review Association.

He received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

The mission of the Intellectual Property Section is to maintain a high standard of professional ethics in the practice of the profession of patent and associated fields of law; to aid in the development of the patent, trademark and copyright laws; to take action concerning amendments to those laws and the Rules of Practice of the Patent Office; to protect the administration of such laws; and to provide a medium where exchanges of viewpoint may be had with persons and organizations having related interests.
