Davies Addresses Florida Planning & Zoning Association State Conference

NAPLES, Fla. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Noel J. Davies, a land use and real estate attorney in the firm’s Naples office, spoke at the 59th Annual Florida Planning & Zoning Association State Conference. Davies co-presented with Kristine Smale, Senior Manager at John Burns Real Estate Consulting, at the statewide meeting of urban planners and other real estate development professionals on “The Whys and Hows of Future Infill Development in Florida.”

The Florida Planning & Zoning Association is a statewide nonprofit organization comprised of people dedicated to planning and developing a quality Florida. It was formed with a mission to “furnish a medium for interchange of information and mutual assistance among those interested in planning and zoning.”

Davies practices land use and real estate law in the firm’s Real Estate Law Group. His practice includes representation of real estate developers in all facets of development, from due diligence for acquisitions to public hearing representation, including state and local government relations with respect to site plan approvals, permitting, zoning, wetlands and environmental issues. Davies also has a transactional commercial and residential real estate practice, including closing and title services.

A native of Southwest Florida, Davies received his law degree, cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida. Prior to his career in law, Davies was an international concert pianist with performances around the world.
