National LGBT Bar Association Names Louis A. Klapp a Best LGBT Lawyer Under 40

CHICAGO, Ill. — Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that Louis A. Klapp has been named to the 2017 National LGBT Bar Association's “Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40” list.

The nation’s largest organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and allied legal professionals 2017 “Best Under 40” list, recognizes the country’s most accomplished young LGBT legal professionals. The National LGBT Bar Association's list includes young lawyers from across the country who have distinguished themselves in their field, and demonstrated a strong commitment to LGBT equality. The awards will be presented during the organization’s Lavender Law® Conference & Career Fair in San Francisco on August 3.

Mr. Klapp's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, primarily in patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes. He has represented clients across a wide variety of industries, including consumer electronics, computer software, wireless communication, medical devices, nutritional supplements, insurance, publishing, retail, and automotive equipment. Mr. Klapp also maintains a pro bono practice focused on civil liberties and civil rights.
