Nicole Stanton Selected as a Valley’s Most Admired Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal

PHOENIX, ARIZ. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that its Phoenix office managing partner Nicole Stanton was selected as one of the Valley’s Most Admired Leaders for 2014 by the Phoenix Business Journal

The Valley’s Most Admired Leaders are a group of 25 leaders across the Valley who are selected for their leadership, dedication and impact on their organizations and the community. The winners were featured in a special edition of May 30th's issue of the Phoenix Business Journal and were recognized at a special dinner on May 29th in Phoenix.

Stanton is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. Her experience includes defense of local and national law firms in legal malpractice actions and other business litigation disputes. She serves as founder of Stop Bullying AZ, an organization dedicated to the prevention of bullying in Arizona schools, a member of Charter 100 Women, a founding board member and past president of the Women’s Metropolitan Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum and is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, teaching professional responsibility. She was selected by her peers in 2011 and 2012 for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®. A graduate of Valley Leadership Class XXIX, Stanton was the YWCA of Maricopa County’s 2011 Tribute to Women honoree in the business leader category. In 2013, she was named as one of the 50 most influential women in Arizona, named a Dynamic Woman by the Phoenix Business Journal and received the 2013 Judge Learned Hand Emerging Leader Award from the American Jewish Committee.

She received her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
