Quarles & Brady Announces New Partners

MILWAUKEE, WIS. - The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that the following attorneys have been elected to partnership by the firm's executive committee:

Madison:
Kerry L. Moskol is a member of the firm's Health Law Group. Her experience includes assisting health care providers with a variety of issues, including health care information, regulatory compliance, health care professional reviews and licensing, and patient care issues. Moskol was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2013 list, in Health Care Law, and was named a 2011 "Up and Coming Lawyer" by the Wisconsin Law Journal. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Health Law Section. She earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Milwaukee:
Andrew P. Beilfuss is a member of the firm's Litigation and Corporate Services Practice Groups. He focuses his practice primarily on litigation, often in the franchise and product marketing and distribution contexts. He also advises on contract drafting and regulatory matters, including advising on product distribution, state and federal franchise laws, the Uniform Commercial Code, terms and conditions of sale and state distribution, and relationship laws. Beilfuss serves on the board of the Milwaukee Young Lawyer's Association, the board of governors as district representative for the State Bar of Wisconsin, as co-chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association's Section on Civil Litigation and as co-chair of the firm's Franchise and Distribution Team. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Thomas J. Krumenacher is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Group. He focuses his practice on U.S. and foreign patents and trademarks. Krumenacher also has considerable experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and medical device arts along with counseling and preparing opinions in patent and trademark infringement and validity matters; strategic patent portfolio development and filing strategies; patent landscape analysis, including due diligence reviews and freedom to operate reviews; and performing IP audits and evaluations. He serves on the board of the Milwaukee School of Engineering's ("MSOE") Alumni Association. He has served as chairman of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce board, and currently serves on the board. He has also served as chairman of the City of Pewaukee's Board of Review. Krumenacher received his law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and his Master's and Bachelor's of Science degrees, with honors, from MSOE.

Phoenix:
Christine Cassetta is a member of the firm's Health Law Group. Her practice includes regulatory issues, with an emphasis in health care and pharmacy law and representation of health care providers. Her experience consists of analysis of federal and state pharmaceutical law and regulations, representation of commercial clients and health care professionals before state regulatory boards, compliance with HIPAA and state health privacy laws, drafting contracts and performing licensing and regulatory diligence for large health care transactions, health care fraud and abuse prevention, and advising commercial clients on FDA issues. In 2011, Cassetta received the Pharmacy Appreciation Award from the Arizona Pharmacy Alliance for demonstrating special and unique interests and concerns for the advancement of Arizona pharmacy. She received her law degree from St. John's University School of Law and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Manhattanville College.

David E. Funkhouser III is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on real property disputes, construction disputes, consumer lending, contract disputes and other commercial torts. Outside of the firm, Funkhouser serves as president-elect of the Maricopa County Bar Association, co-chairs the Maricopa County Bench/Bar Committee, is a member of the Leadership Council for the Special Olympics Advocacy Resource ("SOAR") program, serves on the board of the Arizona Advocacy Network, and is a former State Representative. He is a graduate of Valley Leadership Class 32 and earned both his law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.

Tampa:
S. Douglas Knox is a commercial litigator whose practice involves a wide range of disputes spanning the insurance, franchise, banking and real estate industries. Knox's practice emphasizes trial and appellate practice, and his experience includes representing policy holders in insurance coverage disputes; representing franchisors and employers enforcing non-competition and other restrictive covenants; representing secured creditors in complex commercial foreclosures; defending franchisors from claims of wrongful termination, business tort and breach of contract; defending lenders from unfair lending practices claims; and defending insurance brokerage firms from claims of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty. Knox received both his law degree, magna cum laude, and undergraduate degree, with high honors, from the University of Florida.
