Quarles & Brady Attorney to Present at Women Corporate Directors South Florida Meeting

NAPLES, FLA. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Laura M. Holm, a partner in the firm’s Naples office, will present at the Women Corporate Directors (WCD) South Florida meeting on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Holm will participate in a panel discussion on “Going Beyond Best Practices: The Role of the Board in Effectively Motivating and Rewarding Executives.”

Holm leads the Florida Corporate Services Practice for Quarles & Brady. She has significant experience in a wide variety of complex legal transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, Securities Exchange Act reporting and compliance matters, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations, going private transactions, private placements, and equity and debt offerings as well as general corporate matters. She regularly represents public companies with respect to all of their corporate transactions and compliance programs, and she effectively serves as their outside general counsel.

Holm is listed inThe Best Lawyers in America®, has been named to South Florida’s Top Lawyers Legal Guide since 2010 and has been selected for inclusion in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite since 2006 in Corporate/Business Law. She received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Amherst College.
