Quarles & Brady Becomes First Corporate Partner with Support My Club

PHOENIX – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that the firm’s Phoenix office has become the first corporate partner to join the Support My Club Match It! program, which gives businesses the opportunity to enhance support of local high school clubs and teams by doubling a donor donation.

“We wanted to get involved with Support My Club because we support the organization’s mission to be supportive of education and its desire to create philanthropic opportunities,” said Nicole Stanton, Phoenix office managing partner. “Quarles & Brady has long been a supporter of education and organizations that enhance it, so we are excited to help this organization as an office."

Quarles & Brady will be matching items that provide steps for future business success. This includes requests such as memory cards for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), transportation fees for DECA Marketing competitions or courtroom clothes for mock trial clubs at participating high schools throughout Arizona.

Corporate partners choose an area of focus that best aligns with their giving mission and values, and a total budget. When a donor fulfills an item request online, their donation is doubled, helping the club or team reach its goals. For every $100 worth of items a club or team receives, students perform one hour of community service.

About Support My Club
Support My Club, founded in 2012 by Amy Armstrong, connects the needs of public high school clubs and sports teams to online donors looking to make a difference. Donors can shop through the website to find specific items that speak to their interests. Like a wedding registry for clubs, the donor adds an item to their cart and makes a tax-deductible donation. The items are then delivered directly to the school. Support My Club has helped fulfill more than 1,060 items, and students have performed over 300 hours of community service as a result of those donations.
