Quarles & Brady Marks 30th Anniversary in Naples With 30 Community Service Projects04/04/12
NAPLES, FLA. - Quarles & Brady LLP's Naples office is celebrating 30 years of exceptional legal services and responsible community leadership with 30 service projects assisting those in need. The Firm selected a diverse range of community service activities designed to enable all employees to contribute throughout the year. Projects include serving meals to the homeless, sponsoring clothing drives, raising money and participating in the American Heart Association's Collier County Heart Walk, hosting holiday food drives for St. Matthew's House, collecting pet food for a local animal shelter, donating student memberships to the Naples Art Association to provide access for local students and volunteering at community schools.
Since the Firm was founded in Milwaukee in 1892, community service has been an important component to the Firm. The tradition continued as a core value of the Naples office when it opened its doors in 1982. The Naples office is a full service office with corporate, labor and employment, litigation, real estate and trust and estates practice. "The hard work and dedication of our entire team to and for the Naples community is remarkable and something we take extremely serious," said T. Robert Bulloch, office managing partner. "It's an honor that we have been able to serve our clients' needs for 30 years in Naples and we look forward to doing so over the next 30."
Quarles & Brady employees regularly volunteer for and contribute to not-for-profit organizations on a regular basis, through our Quarles Cares Program. Through the Firm's yearlong service initiative, titled "30 Ways to Give Back," employees will participate in 30 service projects with a goal of completing an average of two projects per month.
"As we fulfill our commitments to these 30 service projects, we hope that others will be inspired to do the same," Maureen McGovern, office administrator said. "Working together, we can truly make a difference in the lives of those in need."
"We're excited to dig in and get involved in so many unique community service activities," said Pamela Hough, a receptionist who has been with the Naples office of Quarles & Brady for 21 years. "Thanks to the enthusiasm of the entire Quarles & Brady family, we'll be able to reach a number of different groups in need of support-from local veterans to food pantries."
Throughout 2012 Quarles & Brady will post regular updates about its community service projects on www.quarles.com.
