Rory Foster Joins BadgerBOTS Board of Directors

MADISON, WI — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Rory Foster, an associate in the firm’s Madison office, has joined the board of directors for the local nonprofit organization, BadgerBOTS. 

Founded in 2007, BadgerBOTS (Building On Talented Students) serves hundreds of Dane County students, ages seven to eighteen years. BadgerBOTS educates students in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math, and hosts robotics clubs, camps and tournaments. They are also involved in local, state and global competitions held by FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

Mr. Foster is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and focuses his practice in the areas of patent prosecution and litigation, intellectual property licensing and due diligence, and other intellectual property issues in mergers, acquisitions and asset purchases.

He earned his law degree from Harvard University, his master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and his undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
