Sidorin Elected to State Bar of Arizona Intellectual Property Executive Council
TUCSON, AZ — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Yakov Sidorin, an associate in the firm’s Tucson office, has been elected to the State Bar of Arizona’s Intellectual Property Executive Council.
Offering 28 sections of law, the State Bar of Arizona has over 17,600 active attorneys, a third of them being involved in at least one section. Dr. Sidorin may serve up to three years as a member-at-large on the executive council. He has been active in the State Bar of Arizona since November 2011.
A member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, Yakov focuses his practice on patent prosecution and general intellectual property counseling, including licensing and transfer of IP, opinion work, infringement analysis, and valuation of IP for academic institutions, multinational corporations, mid-size companies and startups.
Yakov earned his Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from the Optical Sciences Center at the University of Arizona, and his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
