Three Quarles & Brady Attorneys Named 2012 Legal Eagles by Franchise Times

MILWAUKEE, WIS. - The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that partners David A. BeyerJohn F. Dienelt and Jeffrey H. Wolf have been named Legal Eagles for 2012 by Franchise Times magazine.

Legal Eagle honorees are attorneys nominated by their peers, clients and the Franchise Times' editorial board who are looked at as franchise lawyers at the top of their game, the rainmakers, the go-to-lawyers and ethical problem-solvers in the franchise community. They speak at industry events and legal symposiums, are winning court cases, writing seamless contracts and documents and meet the criteria of the Franchise Times editorial panel. This year, 122 lawyers in the U.S. were named and will be featured in the April issue of Franchise Times magazine.

Beyer practices in the Firm's Tampa office and is a member of the Franchise and Distribution Group. He has extensive experience in organizing and structuring franchise and other distribution programs. He also represents franchisors on technology-related issues, including web site development, e-commerce, cybersquatting and channel conflict. Beyer was named one of Florida's Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine and was named to the International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers by Who's Who Legal in 2011. As a leader in the development of franchise law in Florida, he has served multiple terms as chairman of the Franchise Law Committee of The Florida Bar. Beyer earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and his bachelor's degree from Tulane University.

Dienelt is a member of the Firm's new Washington, D.C. office. He is a litigator with 30 years of trial and appellate experience, particularly in franchising, antitrustintellectual property and other commercial cases. He concentrates on complex and enterprise-threatening litigation, including class actions. Dienelt is the former chair of the ABA Forum on Franchising, has been named to the International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers by Who's Who Legal, was listed in the 2011 Chambers USA Client's Guide and has been recognized for his pro bono activities by the D.C. Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. Dienelt is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown and Virginia law schools, where he teaches franchise law. He earned his law degree from Yale Law School, holds a master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Wolf practices in the Firm's Phoenix office and is a member of the Franchise and Distribution Group. His national litigation practice focuses on representing franchisors in a variety of complex cases, including class actions. In 2011, Wolf was named to the International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers list by Who's Who Legal, and was selected as an Arizona's Finest Lawyer. He has also been listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America each year since 2007 and in Southwest Super Lawyers® each year since 2006. Wolf earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his undergraduate degree from the University of Hartford.
