Nikia L. Gray / Associate
Professional Experience
Nikia Gray is a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Group, and practices in the areas of patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on optics, business methods and medical devices. Her recent experience includes:
  • Drafting and prosecution of patent applications related to fiber optics, surgical devices, fluid valves, mission-critical systems, microphones, data storage devices, CO2 cartridges, e-commerce, data mining, encryption and social networking.

  • Drafting and prosecuting domestic and foreign trademark applications.

  • Ex parte proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

  • Extensive involvement in numerous patent disputes, on behalf of both the patent holder and the accused infringers, in technology areas ranging from semiconductor fabrication equipment and chemical processes to sporting equipment.

  • Extensive involvement in multiple trademark and copyright disputes, on behalf of both the plaintiffs and accused infringers.
