Professional Experience
Patrick Nolan represents companies and individuals in product liability, toxic tort, professional liability and personal injury claims throughout the United States and Canada. His multi-jurisdictional experience extends to all phases of the litigation process from initial claim and fact investigation to civil discovery, trial and appeal.
While a substantial portion of Mr. Nolan’s work involves the defense of product liability and personal injury claims, he also handles insurance coverage claims for firm clients involving both standard and specialized insurance policies. Mr. Nolan’s experience includes:
- Resolving personal injury and product liability claims for a large national brewer.
- Defending farm, aerial lift, crane, and construction equipment manufacturers against catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims.
- Defending aviation component part manufacturers against wrongful death claims arising out of accidents involving turbo-prop aircraft.
- Representing a large chemical manufacturer in complex toxic tort and environmental claims throughout the nation.
- Obtaining significant multi-million dollar insurance recoveries for clients facing environmental contamination, asbestos and other long tail exposure claims.
- Obtaining substantial insurance recoveries and defense costs for clients with claims under directors and officers (“D&O”), employment practices liability (“EPL”), media liability and other claims made and professional liability policies.
