CHICAGO, ILL. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Michael Rechtin has joined its Chicago office as a partner in the Real Estate Group. Prior to joining the firm, Rechtin was a partner at Holland & Knight, based in Chicago.

“Michael’s wide-ranging experience in commercial real estate matters will be a significant asset to our clients across the country,” said Theodore I. Yi., co-managing partner of the Chicago office. “Our strategy has long been to build from our strengths and focus on growth in our strategic markets and nationally recognized practice areas, such as real estate.”

Mr. Rechtin focuses his practice on commercial real estate, including office, industrial and retail leasing, data center real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, equity investments and development. His clients include pension funds and pension fund advisors, real estate investment trusts, investment advisory groups, local and national commercial developers and real estate entrepreneurs.

He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
