Research Institutions: Labor and Employment
The Labor & Employment Law Group has represented Research Institutions for many years. While we represent management in all areas of labor and employment law, including the defense of employment discrimination and employment-related complaints, our primary focus in representing research institutions is to advise on personnel matters and draft policies, Employment Agreements, and Separation Agreements and Releases. We make every effort to assist research institutions in being proactive on addressing human resource matters and being up to date on the latest developments in Confidentiality Agreements, FMLA developments, Electronic Communications and Social Networking policies. Our focus is to keep research institutions concentrating on their major objectives and operations while, at the same time, hopefully having human resource matters being quiet as well as modern and up-to-date.
