Robert A. Lewis, Associate


Robert A. Lewis is an associate at Quarles & Brady LLP and a member of the firm’s Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits and Business Law Practice Group in its Chicago office.

Mr. Lewis has extensive experience working with private and public companies in domestic and international equity plan design, implementation, and compliance. He also advises companies on global equity chargeback programs, executive employment contracts, executive compensation proxy disclosures, severance plans, and retention pay programs. He is well versed in compensation and equity issues associated with mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, spin-offs and other corporate restructuring.

Mr. Lewis represents a broad range of clients, on such matters as ESOP transactions, executive compensation and international stock purchase plans.

Mr. Lewis is a member of the American Bar Association, the ESOP Association, and the National Associates of Stock Plan Professionals.

Prior to joining Quarles & Brady LLP, Mr. Lewis was an associate at a national general-practice law firm. In addition, Mr. Lewis served in the United States Navy on board the USS Harry S. Truman during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
