Community Service

Bob is an active participant in both legal industry and community service activities, but the following organizations have benefited from his particular focus.

Milwaukee Archdiocesan School Commission

Training and resources are provided for new members, officers, and trustees who serve on parish and cluster councils. Bob was a member from 2004 to 2008.

St. Sebastian Congregation Personnel Committee is a family of believers, dedicated to carrying out the mission of Jesus Christ, through prayerful openness to the transforming presence of God, a generous response to God’s many blessings, and respect for all God’s creations. Bob is a long-time parishioner and has been involved in various projects of the parish, including its school and church building renovation project in 2001–2003 and its Personnel Committee.

Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Inc. was founded in 1973 by several congregations on Milwaukee’s East Side, which were concerned about isolated elders. These congregations pooled their resources to more effectively reach out to isolated elders. The Interfaith neighborhood outreach program is the direct descendant of those early efforts. Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Inc. (then called Interfaith Program for the Elderly) was incorporated in 1975. Since then, Interfaith has replicated those early efforts of Milwaukee’s East Side to provide a countywide Neighborhood Outreach Program with 14 offices supported by 200 congregations. Bob has held positions on Interfaith’s Board of Directors, including President and is currently the chair of its Human Resource Committee.
