Quarles & Brady's Ugalde Elected Chairman of Board of Adjustment
PHOENIX, ARIZ. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that James L. Ugalde, an attorney in the Firm’s Phoenix office, has been elected chairman of the board of adjustment for the City of Chandler. He previously served as vice chairman of the board.
Mr. Ugalde is an attorney in the Commercial Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Group. He focuses his practice on the representation of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, and the enforcement of creditors’ rights through nonjudicial trustee’s sales, receivership and deficiency actions. He earned both his law degree,
cum laude, and undergraduate degree,
magna cum laude, from Arizona State University.
About the Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is a seven member board that reviews variance zoning applications requesting to waive or modify zoning code requirements, and also reviews appeals of the Zoning Administrator’s requirement or decision.
