Quarles & Brady's Valdivia Named Among 40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40
PHOENIX, ARIZ. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that
Dawn C. Valdivia, a partner in the Firm’s Phoenix office, was selected as a “40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40” honoree by Phoenix’s Univision Radio and Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc.
Ms. Valdivia focuses her practice on labor and employment. She represents clients regarding issues of workplace discrimination, employee discipline and termination, employer policies, and compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, with extensive experience representing clients before the NLRB and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She was recently selected to the Inaugural Class of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Association of the Corporate Counsel Pilot Project on Value-Based Skills: Equipping the Next Generation of Latina Corporate Practice Leaders. She earned her law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and her B.A.,
magna cum laude, with honors, from Arizona State University.
The “40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40” honorees are young, up-and-coming Hispanic professionals that are committed to working towards the greater good of the community through leadership and represent corporate, government, nonprofit and arts & culture sectors across Arizona. They will be honored at the 4th Annual Recognition Luncheon on Wednesday, September 22.
