Executing on the latest component of its strategic growth plan, Quarles & Brady has opened its ninth office in Washington, D.C. While Quarles has long maintained a presence in our nation’s capital, the establishment of a permanent office on K Street places us directly within the environment in which the laws of the land are made and shaped, allowing us to act on behalf of our clients’ interests where many of the primary influencers of Congress operate. Our D.C. office further expands the Quarles & Brady footprint to the East Coast, strengthening our resources and reach as a national law firm.

The Quarles attorneys in our Washington offices are veterans of the legal industry, with particular strengths in litigation, franchise, regulatory, telecom, transportation, banking, real estate and public private partnership law, augmenting some of our signature areas of practice. However, we plan to quickly expand our ranks there to provide ready access to East Coast legal representation for our clients all over the world.

From Washington, DC / National / Reagan Airport – DCA (5 miles N) Follow the signs to Washington, D.C. (George Washington Parkway). Take the I-395 / Route 1 north exit (which is the 14th St. Bridge). Merge to the far left lane and follow the signs for 14th Street. Follow 14th Street for approximately 9 blocks and make a left onto I (Eye) Street. Turn right onto 18th Street, then right onto K Street. We are located in the building on the corner of K and 17th Street. Park at the garage at 1700 K Street (entrance from the service lane parallel to K Street).

From Washington, DC / Dulles – IAD (25 miles E) Follow the signs to Interstate 66 East to Washington. Follow-I-66 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (US Route 50). Take the E St. exit off of the bridge. Turn left onto 17th Street. Turn left onto I (Eye) Street. Turn right onto 18th Street, then right onto K Street. We are located in the building on the corner of K and 17th Street. Park at the garage at 1700 K Street (entrance from the service lane parallel to K Street).

Baltimore – Washington International – BWI (33 miles SW) Take I-195W to Exit 2B for MD-295 South/Balt/Wash Pkwy - toward Washington. Merge onto MD-295 South and take it for approximately 23 miles. Take the exit onto New York Ave NE/US 50 toward Washington. Continue onto New York Ave NW and then onto Mount Vernon Place NW and then onto Massachusetts Ave NW. Turn left on 11th St NW. Turn right on K St NW. We are located in the building on the corner of K and 17th Street. Park at the garage at 1700 K Street (enter from the service lane parallel to K Street).

Subway / Metro Stations:

Red Line: Use Farragut North Station. Take K Street exit. We are across the road at 1700 K Street.

Orange / Blue Line: Use Farragut West Station. Take the 17th Street exit. Walk one block north on 17th Street, then turn left on K Street.

Train Station:

Union Station (2 miles from 1700 K Street and on Red Line Metro)
