Clay B. Wortham Joins Quarles & Brady's Health Law Group
CHICAGO, ILL. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that
Clay B. Wortham has joined the Firm's
Chicago office as an associate in the
Health Law Group.
Mr. Wortham advises pharmacies, hospital systems, physician groups, and manufacturers with respect to health law regulatory and transactional matters such as Fraud and Abuse, health information privacy, pharmacy practice, billing and acquisitions. Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, Mr. Wortham served as corporate counsel for Walgreen Co.'s retail pharmacies and affiliated convenient care clinics with respect to product and program initiatives, acquisitions, patient privacy, and payor relationships.
Clay earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the
Kentucky Law Journal and his undergraduate degree,
cum laude, from the University of the Cumberlands.
