Overview of recent state regulations impacting PBMs and PBM operations. Additionally, this session will give an overview to the types of litigation claims that PBMs face nationally, including several novel legal theories. The presenters will also discuss risk management for PBMs and pharmacies with respect to avoiding, or defending, these types of legal claims.

NABP reviews pharmacies with an online presence and medication-related websites to ensure that they are properly licensed and follow applicable laws and business best practices. Whether you have already obtained .pharmacy certification or are interested in learning more, this presentation will offer an overview of frequently asked questions about the program and will give participants an opportunity to hear NABP's thoughts about the evolution of the process. Because we will be lucky enough to have a representative from NABP presenting, this will also be an opportunity to ask questions about .pharmacy certification.
Billing, Reimbursement, and Repayment Issues

This breakout session will address common but difficult questions that arise when billing and receiving reimbursement for drugs and devices from federal health care programs. Issues that will be addressed include billing for shared devices, the potential impact of value-based purchasing on pharmacies, contracting issues, and dealing with overpayments.
